Day 01

DELHI- AGRA

Arrival at Delhi and after the warm greetings by Delhi Agra Tour representative, your early morning transfer arrangement will be made to Agra.

0630 Hr. to 1245 Hr.

Drive to Agra (203 kms. 4 hrs. 30 min. approx.) by road. On arrival at Agra, your tour Delhi Agra proceed to the Taj Mahal to see the architectural modern day wonder of the world, the unique and wonder Taj Mahal. This historical monument is an excellent example of the fusion of many architectural styles and is one of the wonders of the modern world. This amazing creation was built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. This white wonderful and incomparable architecture took 22 years to build by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi precious stones.

1300 Hr. to 1400 Hr.

Later you will be transferred to a classical restaurant in Agra where a sumptuous buffet lunch awaits you.

1400 Hr. to 1500 Hr.

Later you will visit the Agra Fort built in red sandstone with its glorious palaces, halls of public and private audience and the striking gardens. This is the place where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under in-house imprisonment by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Yamuna.

1500 Hr. to 1600 Hr.

Visit some other tourist attractions in Agra such as Mariam’s Tomb, Ram Bagh, Itmad-Ud-Daula’s Tomb.

1600 Hr. to 1730 Hr.

At last, before driving back to Delhi you will visit to Fatehpur Sikri and en-route visit Sikandra the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, a magnificent garden tomb. You are at deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by great Mughal ruler Akbar as his capital. Here you will see amazing Bulund Darwaza - the largest gateway in the world, and the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, a famous Sufi saint of India of that time.

1730 Hr. to 2230 Hr. (Tour End)
