Day 01/ Day of Arrival
On your arrival at Delhi you will be received with warm welcome by our Forts and Palaces Tour representative from Airport. You will be assisted for lodging to hotel of your choice and en- route you may enjoy visiting your first sightseeing of Delhi at a glance. Relax and stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi with enjoying the Indian cuisine dinner.
Day 02/ At Delhi
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, our Golden Triangle tour representative will arrange your sightseeing tour of Delhi. Enjoy exploring the most tourist attractions in Delhi like- the Rajghat (cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Lotus temple, Kutub Miniar, the Chandni Chowk area, Humayun's Tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple and the India Gate. You will also love to shop here. Tour representative will drop you to hotel for your overnight comfortable stay.
Day 03 / Delhi-Jaipur (By train Dep. 0610 Hrs Arr. 1040 Hrs.)
Early morning drive to railway station to board the super fast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train. Arrive Japur in approx. 11 hours & transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing of Jaipur will be arranged. Here you will enjoy seeing the all three forts of Jaipur namely- the Amber Fort, the Jaigarh and the Nahargarh Fort. You will also visit other charming sights of Jaipur like the Hawa Mahal- (Palace of winds), the City Square & Palace, and Albert hall museum. Evening of Jaipur is quite lovely & you will enjoy much to watch it.
Day 04 / Jaipur-Agra ( By Road )
After the morning breakfast you will be drive to Ciry of Taj en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 to memorialize the birth of his son and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. Here you will see amazing Bulund Darwaza - the largest gateway in the world, and the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, a renowned Sufi saint of India. On arrival at Agra, check-in to the hotel. Rest of day at leisure and later your night stay in Agra will be made in a hotel at Agra.
Day 05 / Agra
After the morning breakfast, you will be drive to visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love of a Mughal king and his queen which is counted as a world’s wonder and it is also known as world’s heritage site and considered as the most beautiful historic monument in the world. Also visit Sikandra, the tomb of Akbar on your way back to Delhi. Once again your night Agra accommodation will be made in hotel at Agra.
Day 06 / Agra - Gwalior- Orchha
On sixth day of your tour, you will be drive to railway station to board the train to Gwalior. Arrive Gwalior and go on for Gwalior sightseeing. The whole city is a visual and aesthetic feast, for the builders of Gwalior were great architects. Ramble through the streets of the city and you will view old Havelis with delicately carved doorways and windows; at almost every street crossing you will find statues of the Scindia family. Museums and art galleries are treasure houses and delightfully maintained palaces give the city its unique regal flavor. Sightseeing in Gwalior is a paranormal trip into the centuries gone by. Visit Gwalior Fort: Standing on a steep mass of sandstone, Fort dominates the city and is its most wonderful monument. It has been a sight of significant events, imprisonments, battles and jauhars. A sheer road winds upwards to the Fort, flanked by statues of Jain tirthankaras, carved into the rock face. The superb outer walls of the Fort still stand, two miles in length and 35 feet high, bearing witness to its character for being one of the most unbeatable forts in India. This impressive construction stimulated ruler Babar to describe it "the pearl amongst the fortresses of Hind." Your Gwalior tour ends here and continue your drive to Orchha & check-in to the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Day 07 / Orchha - Jhansi - Delhi
Take morning breakfast and proceed for Orchha sightseeing of this historical site with magnificent orchha temples and monuments. Orchha is a small town between Jhansi and Khajuraho. Rulers of this place managed to stay on friendly terms with the Mughals. Mughals made India their homestead in the 16th Century and ruled for about 250 years and produce marvelous palaces and temples. Some of the palaces were adorned with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela School of painting. Continue driving to Jhansi and on arrival, proceed for Jhansi sightseeing. Jhansi has played colorful role in the history of India. You will visi Jhansi Fort and museum, which was built in 1613 by Maharaja Bir Singh Deo or Orchha. The British ceded the fort to the Maharaja of Scindia in 1858, but later exchanged it for Gwalior in 1866. The fort is much in ruins and below is the government museum which houses a small compilation of 9th to 12th century sculptures. Later, during evening, you will be transferred to railway station to borad the train to Delhi. You will reach Delhi by late evening and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 08 / Departure
