Akbar's Tomb in Sikandra

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (also known as Keoladeo National Park) is situated at Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. This famous bird sanctuary is considered as ‘Ornithologist's Paradise’ which is 60 km away from Agra and often known as Ghana National Park.

Chambal Safari Lodge

Fatehpur Sikri

The heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri is built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1571 to 1585. Situated 38 kilometers away from Agra, this is an attractive monument at Fatehpur Sikri which are a synthesis of Islamic and Hindu architecture reflecting the religious tolerance of Akbar.

Gwalior

Located at a distance of around 118 km from Agra, the city of Gwalior, (also known as the city of famed ‘Sindia') is recognized for its mighty fort. Gwalior is a town in Madhya Pradesh which is renowned for its royal monuments and forts.

Mariam's Tomb

Situated at Sikandra in the Christian Missionary Society compound about 13 km from Agra, Mariyam's Tomb is an exquisite construction of 1611 AD. The tomb is constructed for Mariyam, Mughal emperor Akbar’s beautiful wife from Goa.

Mathura

Located 58 kilometers away from Agra, Mathura (or Brajbhoomi) is famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, an important deity in the Hindu religious pantheon. It is a vital pilgrim place of the Hindus and one of the seven sacred cities in India.

Vrindavan

Situated just 15 kilometers away from Mathura and 60 kilometers away from Delhi, Vrindavan is a sacred destination of the Hindus and is valued for its association with the life of Lord Krishna. There are as many as 4,000 temples in Vrindavan, most of them devoted to Lord Krishna.
